In the final comment after the season, I brought up the possibility that David Bowie may have encountered the Fermi lifeform during his deepest artistic moments in the 1970s.
Both in "Starman" and "The Man Who Sold the World," it seems to be the same figure Bowie is singing about (according to the Paradise Machine model.)
So I think it's a nice way to finish Season 1, which I regard as a major scientific success. See also X for updates.
We passed upon the stairs, talked of was and when although I was there. He said I was his friend which came as a surprise. I looked into his eyes, I thought you died a long a long, long time ago. Oh no, we never lost control. Your face to face with the man who sold the world No, not me. We never lost control your face to face with the man sold the world. Oh no, but me, we never lost control. Your face to face with the men of the world. Thank you, David Bob. Thank you. It was a nice chat we had there in the stairs, David, wasn't it? I remember it now. Now I remember that conversation.
